What is No Place For Hate
Have you ever driven around town and wondered what the No Place for Hate signs are all about? Lansdowne is one of 2 Pennsylvania towns designated a No Place for Hate Community By the Anti-Defamation League.
“No Place for Hate enables communities to challenge anti-Semitism, racism, hatred, and bigotry in all forms… No Place for Hate is an innovative and powerful method for reducing prejudice and discrimination, increasing appreciation for diversity and building communities of respect.”
Some of the things we do…
Cultural/Diversity Events, Bully Prevention/Teen Programs, Community Outreach Education, Mediation Resources, on-Violent Education, Speaking Events.
How can you help?
We need volunteers who are willing to lead, and plan events. In order to vote on event choices, you must be a Lansdowne resident; however anyone can attend meetings/events or help out.
